Meine 3 Tage in Saragossa gehen wie im Fluge vorbei. Dies liegt zum Einen an meinem Gastgeber Jorge aus Guadalajara in Mexico, der hier in Saragossa sein Studium fortsetzt, zum Anderen ist es diese lebhafte Stadt an sich. Da hier extrem viele Studenten aus aller Welt sind, gibt es der Stadt ein sehr internationales Flair. Saragossa, nicht unbedingt das Touristische Ziel der Welt, hat dennoch ein sehr offenes Herz.
Je mehr ich in Richtung Süden komme, desto mehr sind die architektonisches Einflüsse aus dem Nordafrikanischen Raum spürbar. Die Basilika hat auch nicht den für westliche Kulturen normalen Grundriss, sondern ist Quadratisch aufgebaut.

My 3 days in Zaragoza passes by way to fast. The first reason for this is my host George from Guadalajara in Mexico, who finishes here his studies, the second is this vivid Town as its self. Because of the huge amount of international Students the town gets its very cosmopolitan flair. As Zaragoza is not the touristic place number one, the people are quite open hearted with foreigners.
The more i got to the south, the more the nord african influences in the arcitectonical meaning gets visible. The Basilica dont has its very typical style like occidental churches, no, it is build in a square.

Natürlich ist der Ebro die Lebensader der Stadt. Ein bisschen erinnert mich die Stadt an Bern, die genauso in die Mäander eines Flusses gebaut wurde. Die Stadt hat sehr viele Parks und Grünflächen und am ganzen Flusslauf ist ein breites Band mit Erholungszonen erhalten geblieben. So oder so, sind die Hauptstrassen sehr sehr breit gebaut! In dieser Stadt kann man auch im Zentrum atmen!
The river Ebro is of course the source of life of the city. It remembers me a little about Bern, which is built as well in a quite similar way on the riverside. This city has a huge amount of green parks and alleys. All along the river you can just enjoy nature in town. The main roads are of a huge size, always with trees.
